ETHICS ESTRADA ISABELLA

What I expect from this class is to learn and get good grades but at the same time having interesting topics that will help to improve my knowledge. What I think can help us improve as a society is that people stop criticizing, judging and start getting more aware on real problems we all have to face, trying to find solutions in which each one of us can contribute depending on what you are good at and also start educating minors with fairer values so the next generations can start growing up in a better society. Also in my opinion if we all get the same opportunities based on our effot and if we all fight for what we want we can obtain results.
my opinion about feminism
My position is to be in favor of feminism since the correct definition is to seek an equity between genders, at no time does it refer to hating men. This definition has been controversial since people think that it is to look for superiority.Probably the word feminist is misspelled because it carries the word feminine but also people should inform themselves before being against the term. I do not want to be better but I do want to obtain the same opportunities based on my effort.I am in favor of all the movements that have occurred on March 8 since it was a day in which women raised their voices regardless of their age and paying tribute to those who are no longer with us.There are many women and men assassinated every day, the difference is that women are killed for the fact of being women, something that we do not decide I don't agree with violence to fix something cuse we are only going to make it worse, pacifist marches and protests without violence are how all feminists should express themselves.I also do not think that it is wrong that men do not open the car door to women or pay you a meal, but these are only details that if your partner wants to do it you would not have to offend you, but they are not obliged neither. We have to change thats a fact, and one of the best ways is educating children so that their world when they grow up will be better and can be what they decide regardless of whether you are a woman or a man.

ETHICS
The study of ethics often concerns what we ought to do and what it would be best to do. In struggling with this issue, larger questions about what is good and right arise. It means great significance of the conduct and behavior of a person.Being able to differentiate the good and the bad actions according to a pattern already marked.Philosophy also study the knowledge considering the discipline of the human based on the principles. We can divide philosophical ethics into at least four parts. Meta-ethics conducts an analysis of moral concepts. Descriptive ethics describes ethical behavior.Normative ethics contemplates the norms or criteria. Applied ethics applies normative theories to particular ethical problems.

Genetic Modify Organism
GMOs are genetically modified organisms can be defined as organisms (plants, animals or microorganisms) in which the genetic material has been altered in a way that does not occur naturally by mating or natural recombination.Instead of being bred in a garden, GMO seeds are bred by biologic engineers who apply modern biotechnology techniques,Thanks to recombinant DNA methodologies, individual genes can be selected and transferred from one organism to another and create a genetically modified organism that wouldn’t have occurred in nature or via traditional cross breeding methods. The engineered organisms produced by transferring genes between species are called transgenic. They can increase the level of crop protection thanks by increasing plants resistance against diseases, viruses, and herbicides. When there is a high weed pressure, GMO crops often don’t need so many pesticides to be applied.Gene selection ensures the resulting plants have the desired characteristics such as enhanced nutrient composition, higher food quality, disease resistance. But from the other part GMOs can bring along 3 main issues of concern for human health: allergenicity, gene transfer and outcrossing.Regarding whether or not GMOs are safe, it depends. Different organisms include different genes that are transferred using different methods.

Ehics as a branch of philosophy
Philosophical ethics are concerned with questions of how people ought to act, and the search for a definition of right conduct (identified as the one causing the greatest good) and the good life (in the sense of a life worth living or a life that is satisfying or happy). It differs from morals and morality in that ethics denotes the theory of right action and the greater good, while morals indicate their practice. Ethics is not limited to specific acts and defined moral codes, but encompasses the whole of moral ideals and behaviors, a person's philosophy of life.It asks questions like "How should people act?" , "What do people think is right?" , "How do we take moral knowledge and put it into practice?" , and "What does 'right' even mean?"

values and anti-values
The value is that quality that is gives to things, events or persons, an estimate which may be positive or negative, while the Axiology is the discipline, part of philosophy, which is in charge of the study of nature and the essence of the value in question. And in another sense, the values are that set of examples which society proposed in the social relations, this situation has given rise to the existence of a scale of values which will go from the positive to the negative. The decisions we make are a reflection of our values and beliefs, and they are always directed towards a specific purpose. That purpose is the satisfaction of our individual or collective needs. In a society, anti-values are not desired as they have negative results for people and for coexistence.
